Hours Description: Full time


Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Marketing and Communications Manager will provide marketing and stakeholder relations support for the Pembina West Co-op. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and implementing our strategic marketing plan for our Association. Additional tasks include the responsibility of the Associations donations, advertising, social media, Kids Club activities and member newsletters. This role will also research, gather and prepare communications material for both internal and external audiences.


1. Lead and promote brand and social committee initiatives consistent with corporate business goals and objectives
2. Develop and implement advertising campaigns appropriate for print or electronic media
3. Spearhead and execute events held by the Pembina West Co-op throughout the year
4. Initiate market research studies and analyze the data utilizing FCL’s Insights and Analytics department for surveys, feedback and market potential information


The successful applicant will possess a diploma or degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field. The ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing will ensure success in this role. Additional requirements include expertise with social media, the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands, a high level of integrity and self-motivation and the ability to work in a diverse environment.
